Gai Waterhouse: Enjoyed a great day at Warwick Farm last weekend when leading in four winners and is out to repeat the effort at Rosehill on Saturday. Waterhouse saddles up the unbeaten Ashikaga in the second race, with the gelding out to make it four on the trot after two wins at Kembla Grange and an easy last-start Rosehill success. The talented Lorne Dancer lines up in race three, while first-up winner Raqas is in the fourth. Promising filly Maybe I contests the $1 million Golden Rose on the back of a last-start second behind Desuetude and Sliding Cube (race 8) and Theseo in the final event round out her team.

THE JOCKEY Corey Brown (right): The ride on the David Hayes-trained All American awaits Brown in the Golden Rose at Rosehill on Saturday, with the colt resuming from a spell having been placed in the Blue Diamond Stakes and running fifth in the Golden Slipper last season. "All American proved himself to be in the top tier of colts as a two-year-old and from all reports he has come back in great shape," Brown said. "On class alone he is set to run a big race." Brown's other rides at Rosehill are Strat's Flyer (race 1), Carnegie House (r2), Risayla (r3), Maltese (r4), Capanna (r5), Red Lord (r6), Judged (r8) and Typhoon Zed (r9).

THE WILDCARD The Chris Waller-trained middle-distance performer Hurrah, right, has had two runs back from a spell and lines up in the Premier's Cup at Rosehill having drawn to start from the inside alley. "He did his best work late when he resumed at Rosehill after settling near the back of the field," said Waller. "Last time out he raced a lot closer after jumping from a wide gate and he didn't relish racing without cover. This weekend I expect him to get a nice trail behind the speed and he is a group 1 winner in New Zealand so he has a touch of class about him. He is a lot fitter now he's had the couple of runs back."

THE BOOKIES Glenn Munsie's best bet of the day: Duporth (Rosehill, race 7). Drawn perfectly on the inside.

Lay of the day: Barbarino (Rosehill, race 3). Had huge raps after first two wins but hasn't gone on.

Bill Hurley's best bet of the day: Ashikaga (Rosehill, race 2). Up in class but packed with potential.

Lay of the day: Hurried Choice (Rosehill, race 9). Tough run first-up and up against handy field.

Colin Tidy's best bet of the day: Whobegotyou (Caulfield, race 4). Highly impressive winning his only two starts and ready for the class rise.

Lay of the day: Miss Andretti (Caulfield, race 5). Resuming and barrier one may not be ideal with plenty of speed in this race.
