Ex-Gunns boss Gay faces court

GUNNS former chairman John Gay is tipped to reveal whether he will defend insider trading charges brought against him by the corporate regulator when he appears in a Launceston court tomorrow.

Mr Gay is required to appear in court and is expected to make a plea.

The 68-year-old has been charged with two counts of il­legally disposing of shares in Gunns before price-sensitive information was released to the market.
