Interstate inquiry drives Swan Hill sheep sale

Strong interstate inquiry, from the South Australian Riverland and northern NSW, were surprise-packet buyers at Thursday's special sale of 24,000 store sheep sale at Swan Hill, Victoria.

Selecting through an offering that reflected the severe drought in the western Riverina, the interstaters place on solid floor in the market belying the condition of the yarding, whilst paying full respect to the years and years of quality breeding.
