Jim Cudmore elected new ALFA president

14 Oct, 2008 10:14 AM
Australian Lot Feeders' Association members have elected Jim Cudmore as their next president.

He replaces Malcolm Foster who has decided to step down after three years at the helm.

Mr Foster's retirement follows his second stint in the role after he served as president between 1995-1999 and then 2005 until now.

He will however continue to be represented on the ALFA Council and Executive Committee as the immediate past president.

Mr Cudmore is the general manager at Kerwee Lot Feeders Pty Ltd at Jondaryan in southern Queensland and has been vice president of ALFA for the last year.

Stephen Reynolds from Charlton Feedlot, Victoria, and Warren Barnett from Associated Feedlots at Mathoura, NSW, were elected joint vice president.

Scott Braund, national feedlot manager for Mort and Company, Toowoomba, Queensland, was re-elected as treasurer.

The election was held at ALFA’s Annual General Meeting during its BeefEx conference last week.
