Cab attraction for Kubota newcomer

21/10/2008 1:15:00 PM
Taking the next step in developing its increasingly versatile utility vehicle design sees Kubota releasing a stylish-looking cab with its RTV1100 unit.

Proving popular ever since its introduction in 2004, users can now enjoy the comforts associated with the design of its Premium Grand Cabin.

Importer Kubota Tractor Australia says either heated or cooled comfort makes the newcomer ideal to use in the event of wintery weather, or hot, tropical conditions.

Claiming the new cab "raises the bar" within the competitive utility vehicle sector, it also is said to be one of the quietest in the industry by delivering just 83dB(A) at maximum revs.

Additional safety, comfort and convenience features include retractable seatbelts, a premium cloth seat, padded headrests and an accessible under-seat storage area.

The new RTV1100 comes with a variable hydrostatic transmission and hydrostatic power steering.

Other standard transmission features available in the RTV1100 include 4WD, four-wheel wet disc brakes and foot-operated differential lock.

Power is supplied by a 1.5kW (25hp) Kubota diesel engine that uses the company’s indirect injection technology to keep engine vibration and noise to acceptable levels.

Its attraction is enhanced by a standard front brush guard and hydraulic tipping tray with load carrying capacity of 500kg.
