Dairy cattle strong at Malanda Show

Dairy cattle strong at Malanda Show

09 Jul, 2009 04:00 AM
AS you would expect from a town famous for its dairying industry, judges from NSW, Victoria and Southern Queensland were impressed with the quality of Illawarra, Friesian and Jersey dairy cattle exhibited at the Malanda Show last weekend.

Supreme Champion Cow was Glen Echo Monty Fleck, shown by Don and Kelly Davis of Warragamba Stud, Millaa Millaa.

Malanda turned on the best of Tableland weather for the two-day show with variety of ring events, sideshow stalls, ute muster, pavilion exhibits, woodchops, and all the fun and excitement of a country show.
