Newly-married Owen and Tracey Rasmussen are not only soul mates, they're work mates, too.
While many a wife might wave goodbye to their partner ahead of the busy summer contract harvesting season, that's not the case with this dynamic duo.
By now, both will have packed their bags and settled in to shepherding their new 'baby' through the long hot summer that is yet to unwind.
That new addition to the family is a huge new Class Eight A 85 AGCO Gleaner header supplied by West Dalby Ag Sales.
And don't expect to hear Tracey's role is that of chief cook and bottle-washer. Far from it, because a whole series of machinery 'tickets' underscore her competence at operating a range of advanced farm equipment.
I caught up with the Rasmussen's a few days after they were married at their homestead at nearby Kupunn village, just a stone's throw from Dalby.
The pictures depict a stylish occasion with the key players arriving for the ceremony in the sparkling new header, plus its now-sold former associate, dwarfing the guests who attended the happy occasion.
This is a couple who not only have committed to each but also to agriculture which is starting to haemorrhage young people to the increasingly bullish mining industry – one that has little appeal for the Rasmussens.
