THE Queensland Government Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation (DEEDI) updated the North Queensland Register on the Hendra case early this week.
It said the five remaining horses on the affected property on the road joining Woodstock and Giru all seemed to be well and were being checked regularly.
Four horses on neighbouring properties have been tested as a precaution.
The spokesperson said a couple of tests would be conducted throughout the 32-day quarantine period, and a new statement would be released only if there were a positive result.
Officials have warned horse owners to remain vigilant and keep horse feed and water away from under trees.
In response to the case, an information van was set up at the Woodstock service station last week for residents seeking further advice.
