Bush fashions scouts wanted

1/08/2008 4:00:00 AM
THOSE who can spot a pretty face and even future models are being sought in North West Queensland.

Organiser of the Townsville Fashion Bash Henry Petersen has put the call out looking for talent scouts in the bush for next year’s event.

“With the expansion of the Fashion Bash into a national event this year and further plans to expand it global in 2010 we are now on the lookout for more Talent Scouts to assist us to discover more talented students,” Mr Petersen said.

“To date the fashion bash has already discovered 10 international models and dancers, plus seven Australian fashion design award winners.

“To build on this success and to ensure we do attract the best national talent to next April’s Townsville event we urgently require more talent scouts to become part of our team.”

To be eligible to become a 2009 Fashion Bash Talent Scout, applicants must become a member of Youth Fashion Expressions Inc Association; show the 2008 Opal Fashion Bash TV Doco to talented students; encourage them to visit the website and enter 2009 Fashion Bash; communicate with other fashion bash talent scouts; compile a monthly report of talent scouting; and attend the annual AGM and Talent Scout of the Year Awards the 2009 Fashion Bash.

*To apply, contact Henry Petersen, 0428 887 114, e-mail: henrypetersen@bigpond.com or visit: www.fashionbash.com.au
