Chipalee sells at auction for $1.38m

Cattle station operators have purchased Chipalee, a 116-hectare property at Julatten in the Port Douglas hinterland for $1.38 million.

The Australian Financial Review reports that it sold at auction through Landmark Mareeba agent, Dick Larkin.

There were seven registered bidders and "spirited bidding" for the property.
