Miner buys Dingo block for $3.95m

Yarrabee Mining Group has bought "Tremaine" at Dingo for $3.95 million.

According to The Australian Financial Review, the 2105-hectare property does not have a house, but there are pasture improvements, fencing and water infrastructure and a set of portable steel cattle yards.

Ray Taylor of Landmark Rockhampton negotiated the sale.

"In this current environment it's a very good sale," he said.

"Someone at the auction did want to buy it for a grazing property but was outbid. The new owners are probably going to lease it back for grazing until they decide to use it for mining."
