Oakdare beats bidders to Uramo Station

Oakdare Transport has bought Uramo Station, south-west of Atherton, for $2.75 million.

The 2347 hectare freehold country has a 15 kilometre Herbert River frontage.

The grazing property also has irrigated and dryland cropping and potential feedlot opportunities. Included in the sale were 400 Brahman cattle.

The property was marketed by Henry Slaney from Slaney & Co First National and Dick Larkin from Landmark Mareeba.

There were 16 bids from the floor.
